The workshop is held in Convention Hall, which is situated in Port Island, Kobe, Japan. Port Island is to the south of Sannomiya, the center of Kobe city. The site is several km away from Sannomiya and is accessible by Port Liner train service by 10-15min. 

Kobe is located in mid-west of Japan. The city is a part of Kansai area, together with Osaka, Kyoto and other cities. The city can be reached via Kansai International Airport (KIX) or through airports in Tokyo.

Accommodation

We will block some accommodations for the conference.

Participants can arrange their hotels by their own expense. 

You might be able to find reasonable hotels in Kobe (Sannomiya) through the websites such as Booking.com, Agoda, Torivago.

VISA

Please visit the website of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan. If you need the visa, please contact the LOC from the registration form. We will prepare necessary documents for you so that you can submit them to the Japanese embassy in your country. 

The procedure in the Japanese embassy takes usually for one month. We recommend you to request the visa procedure well ahead of your departure.
